  Lance is amazing I use him almost exclusively on all my projects. He is professional and knowledgeable but most of understanding. He listens to my clients needs and strives for excellence with every project we do. Lance has gone above and beyond for me When there is a client change or an addendum needed he will turn these changes around in a timely manner. I have worked with Lance for about 8 years and will continue to use him and refer him as well.

  We've had a great experience working with Broughton Engineering for our engineering needs. They have been reliable, professional, and easy to work with throughout every project. They are always accommodating to our requests, communicate well, and consistently return calls when needed. Their timelines are accurate, which makes planning projects much easier, and they're always pleasant to speak with.   I have owned a deck company in the metro St. Louis area for 31 years now. We have used lance’s services for over 20 years on literally hundreds of projects. Whenever an issue arises be it in the permitting phase or on site, he has always addressed the matter immediately. One other note, as far as pricing…. He is extremely reasonable for the service that is provided!

  Lance saved the day! We're a deck builder out of Wentzville and have used Lance as our engineer on complicated deck builds for awhile. Yesterday we tore the siding off the back of a house and discovered it had no ledger board with exposed truss like floor joists, we called the city of O'Fallon to discuss a solution but they were stumped and told us to contact our engineer. Lance explained he's on his way out of town with his family for a 4th of July vacation and will review the photos we sent, the next morning he called with a solution and we were back working on the deck build with no days lost. Spot On Home Improvement highly recommends Broughton Engineering. Thanks Lance enjoy your family vacation!!

  Completely unprofessional. Does not answer or return phone calls emails or text messages. He was hired to come out and took a month and a half later to come back out and remeasure so he could start the project so he could start the project from scratch again. Now he's stating he's going to put a lien on an elderly ladies house who just discovered she had cancer if $500 was not sent to him for a project that will not be completed. Not only is this a bad company but a horrible person. On top of all of that he's known through an acquaintance that's why we went with him I could only imagine somebody that doesn't know him.
