  A friend recommended Matt and we were very happy with his service. Our AC went out on a late Friday afternoon in August. One of the replacement parts was going to be super expensive, so he worked to find one that was just as good but less expensive. We texted him about a concern with the humidity and he came right over and tweeted a few settings and we were good to go! He checked in on us another day to make sure we were still cool and the system was working well. We texted Matt with various questions and he was very happy to help us and answer our questions and concerns. He seems to really enjoy what he does and is happy to help the people he serves!

  Jerry Kelly came to do a systems check and hours after the technician left, my a-coil froze up and the system quit cooling the house. I called Matt and he quickly figured out the problem. He also replaced a few parts that I knew were getting out of tolerance, for a fraction of what JK quoted me. I trust Matt and couldn’t be happier with his service.

  I rarely write reviews, but RVHC absolutely earned this one. In June 2025, RVHC replaced both of my air conditioning units and my furnace, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. He answered my service request quickly, communicated clearly throughout the process, and was able to complete the installation much sooner than I expected—especially considering it was the middle of summer when HVAC companies are at their busiest. Matt kept me informed with updates throughout the installation, patiently answered every question I had, handled all of the warranty paperwork, and even followed up afterward to make sure I was completely satisfied with everything. That level of customer service is becoming harder and harder to find. Before choosing RVHC, I contacted several local HVAC companies for estimates. RVHC's pricing was very competitive, and after comparing my options, I felt they offered the best overall value. Replacing an HVAC system is a significant investment, so choosing the right company was important to me. Looking back a year later, I can confidently say I made the right decision. The new equipment is significantly quieter than my old system, my home stays much more comfortable, and I've noticed a meaningful decrease in my utility bills. It's reassuring to know that I made an investment that continues to pay off. If you're looking for a company that provides excellent communication, fair pricing, quality workmanship, and stands behind its work, I highly recommend RVHC. I would not hesitate to use them again for any future HVAC needs.

  No one wants to have to call for a new water heater, however River Valley Heating and Cooling made the entire process painless. Worked very professionally, was quick to respond and left with a customer for life. Would highly recommend. Thank you for the help!
