  Looking to upgrade the crawl space vapor barrier. Estimator was timely and very professional. This is a relatively small job as we have encountered with other estimates, there is a minimum job charge. SafeBasement bid was over $1500 higher than other bids, but not the highest we received. The estimator did his diligence to include as much as possible to satisfy their minimum pricing, however it is much higher than we are budgeting for this project. No high pressure sales pitch, just an honest evaluation from the estimator. Did some research on the suggestion to replace fiberglass batts in the rim joists with spray foam and found that spray foam may not be the best solution as it can promote wood rot as the moisture can get trapped in the wood where it meets the foam.

  Recently had drain tile and sump pump this past month. I’m happy with how the system turned out and really appreciated the team I dealt with throughout the process: Shane, Brandon and Ricky. Everything that happened during the project, including some complications, was dealt with promptly and with integrity.

  I had a crawl space encapsulated by Groundworks. The crew that came to do the work was 5 stars! They were hard working, polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. There were some difficulties with having a sales person who was not from Groundworks but affiliated with them. He was from another state, and added costs that did not work for my project. Due to issues in his assessment, I was overcharged. It took about a week to get the overcharge dealt with. Groundworks staff is friendly and was easy to make my concerns known. I would recommend Groundworks for your project.
